U.S. Advocacy

Our campaigns mobilize Americans to support the vital work of the United Nations, from keeping peace around the globe to advancing global health solutions, to protecting our planet from the worst impacts of climate change.

Through grassroots mobilization and direct engagement of U.S. policymakers at the highest levels, we work to cultivate champions in Congress. As Representatives who do more than vote in support of the UN and UN causes, these congressional champions speak out – from the floor of Congress to the home district rally – leading their colleagues toward robust, ongoing support. Their action is reinforced by constituents in every state.

Our work reflects the will of the people: 76 percent of Americans believe we should pay our dues on time and in full, and nine out of ten Americans believe we should be active in the UN.

BETTER WORLD CAMPAIGN

The Better World Campaign (BWC) works to foster a strong, effective relationship between the United States and the United Nations to promote core American interests and build a more secure, prosperous, and healthy world. BWC engages policymakers, the media, and the American public alike to increase awareness of the critical role played by the UN in world affairs and the importance of constructive U.S. - UN relations.
