The Better World Fund (BWF) is the premier educational and advocacy platform driving support for the United Nations and UN causes in the United States.
Through two flagship programs – the Better World Campaign (BWC) and the United Nations Association of the United States (UNA-USA) – we mobilize the United States’ largest group of trained advocates, grassroots champions, and online supporters for the UN.
We advocate for full payment of American dues to the UN, promote American leadership on important UN causes—such as vaccines, malaria, adolescent girls and family planning—and educate U.S. policymakers, media, and civil society about the myriad ways that the UN promotes American and global interests.
Our campaigns mobilize more than half a million Americans to support the vital work of the United Nations and UN causes, from keeping peace around the globe to advancing global health solutions.
The Better World Fund is governed by a select Board of Directors who share a commitment to the objectives of the UN Charter and to promoting American leadership in support of the UN's work on behalf of economic, social, environmental and humanitarian causes.

2016 marked the 7th year in a row that the BWF and its advocacy campaigns helped ensure full U.S. funding for the UN and UN Peacekeeping.
UNA-USA’s more than 22,000 members – 60% of whom are under the age of 25 – work with their local communities and elected officials to inform, inspire, and mobilize Americans to support the UN.
Bipartisan polling conducted by one of our initiatives – the Better World Campaign – found that nine out of ten Americans believe the U.S. should play an active role in the UN.
